There are a number of potential explanations for the differences including some jurisdictions’ requirement to lodge claims, varying application of common law and even differing culture/climate in the regions generally.
Nonetheless I’m sure the numbers will surprise you.
The next challenge for researchers is to work out if specific features of compensation systems work to improve recovery time and if they can be applied across the border.
